Welcome to MedIQ. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of mediq.com.pk and the MedIQ mobile application (“Services”). By accessing, browsing, or using our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Definitions

  • “MedIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to MedIQ (SMC-Private) Limited, a registered company in Pakistan.

  • “You,” “user,” or “customer” refers to any person accessing or using MedIQ’s website, mobile app, or services.

  • “Healthcare Providers” include doctors, specialists, laboratories, pharmacies, hospitals, and other registered medical professionals listed on MedIQ’s platform.

  • “Services” include teleconsultations, online pharmacy orders, laboratory test bookings, insurance-linked healthcare services, and all digital tools or content offered by MedIQ.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you acknowledge that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or using the Services under parental or guardian supervision.

  • You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Return Policy.

  • You will use the Services in accordance with applicable laws, healthcare regulations, and ethical guidelines.

3. Nature of Services

MedIQ provides a digital platform that connects users with licensed healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and laboratories.

  • MedIQ acts as a facilitator and not as a healthcare provider.

  • All consultations, prescriptions, lab reports, and medications are provided by third-party licensed professionals or organizations.

  • MedIQ is not liable for the accuracy of medical advice, prescriptions, or outcomes of any consultation.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete personal and medical information.

  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes.

  • Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials.

  • Refrain from posting or transmitting any offensive, unlawful, or harmful content.

  • Not use MedIQ’s platform to obtain medicines or services without valid medical justification.

You are solely responsible for all activity under your account and any consequences of providing false or misleading information.

5. Appointment, Consultation, and Prescription

  • Appointments with doctors are scheduled based on availability.

  • Online consultations are intended for non-emergency healthcare.

  • In case of a medical emergency, users must contact local emergency services immediately.

  • Prescriptions issued through MedIQ are valid under Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) and DRAP guidelines.

  • MedIQ reserves the right to suspend any account found misusing prescriptions or services.

6. Pharmacy and Laboratory Services

  • All medicines and tests are provided through licensed pharmacies and laboratories partnered with MedIQ.

  • Orders are processed only upon receipt of a valid prescription, when required by law.

  • Home sample collection and medicine delivery are subject to service availability in your area.

  • Lab results and pharmacy orders are handled as per MedIQ’s Privacy Policy and Data Protection Standards.

7. Payments

  • Payments can be made via credit/debit card, mobile wallets, or bank transfer through secure payment gateways.

  • All prices are displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.

  • MedIQ reserves the right to modify pricing, discounts, or promotions at any time without prior notice.

  • Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy available on our website.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on MedIQ’s website and app—including text, graphics, design, videos, software, and logos—is the exclusive property of MedIQ.

  • Unauthorized use, copying, distribution, or reproduction of any content is strictly prohibited.

  • The “MedIQ” name and logo are protected trademarks under applicable laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • MedIQ provides Services “as is” and “as available.”

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free operation of our platform.

  • MedIQ shall not be liable for:

    • Any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

    • Errors, omissions, or delays caused by third-party providers.

    • Any medical outcomes, side effects, or dissatisfaction with consultations, lab results, or medicines.

  • MedIQ’s total liability, in any case, shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the service in question.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites. These are provided for convenience only. MedIQ is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of use of external sites.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal and medical information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
 By using our Services, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your data for operational, medical, and regulatory purposes.

12. Suspension or Termination

MedIQ reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account at any time if misuse or policy violation is detected.

  • Restrict access to certain features or services without notice.

  • Refuse service to anyone violating these Terms or applicable laws.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
 Any disputes arising from the use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.

14. Updates to Terms

MedIQ reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time to reflect regulatory changes, service enhancements, or policy updates.
 The revised version will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
